I have stop leak holding back a front cover leak on my 4.2. No garage or $ to pay some one to do it. I have heard these can leak into the oil pan. How ? I can see an intake manifold gasket. But how could a front cover gasket leak into the oil pan? I have read this on other internet pages. So I wanted to find out if it was true .

 

To clarify, I have seen intake manifold gaskets to cause internal coolant leaks but never have seen a front cover leak that will leak internally especially leaking into the oil pan. I have had Wynn's stop leak holding back my gasket leak and its been working well. What a product it is a liquid stop leak for cooling systems. With no extra money or time not to mention a garage to take apart my truck and repair I have been driving it like this. Regular oil changes I have never seen coolant in the oil. I do not have two vehicles to driver either as this is my daily driver as well. Thanks

 

Might be reposting in coolant systems. Might take an oil sample to get checked for coolant in my oil.
