You're just replacing the factory blades on a 2011? Wow, mine where junk within 4 months of buying the truck. But replacements have always corrected any issues. Granted some brands "seem" to work a little better or slightly longer. I guess it might be a thin layer of something on your windshield that's causing the chatter.

I agree with MCDavis...get that windshield cleaned. You need to get the windshield surface completely cleaned of any residual buildup or contaminants as well as cleaning the wiper blades off. You will not remove most contaminants with just windex, you need to use something that will actually LIFT off the contaminants. MCDavis is correct that claying a windshield will remove a lot of the contaminants from your windshield just like it does for paint. I have not tried the Bosch wipers as of yet but will do so when I have to replace mine.
Contrary to popular belief..RainX actually CAUSES blades to skip due to the ineffective way it tries to seal the windshield. Removal of RainX does not occur easily. I would suggest using denatured alcohol and a microfiber cloth. Be careful not to get that alcohol on your paint or it will effectively REMOVE your wax. Also no not ever use a scrub pad or anything like that on your windshield as it can cause damage. BMW actually says to use Bon Ami to clean your windshield if you have chatter from your wipers.

Situation:
Windshield wiper blades may start to make noise, or fail to clean the windshield properly, even though the blades are not worn and are properly adjusted.
This can be caused by contaminants on the glass, such as oily road deposits or wax residues from car washes. These contaminants can cause the blades to chatter across the glass or fail to wipe cleanly.
Correction:
Common contaminants that are not removed by conventional glass cleaner can be cleaned with Bon Ami(R), a household cleaning product.
The cleaner should be applied on a wet cloth or sponge and the windshield must be thoroughly and evenly scrubbed. Wipe off residue with a clean,dry cloth before the product dries on the glass.

Yes, my wipers can chatter on my 2012. I just let the window get really wet before turning on the wipers. That cuts down on chatter.
Also, Rain-X washer fluid is the real deal. It cuts down the need to use wipers in the first place because the window is easy to see through even when raining. And the stuff really does remove bugs! Problem is it sucks at melting ice and leaves a foggy film on the window in cold weather that is hard to see through for 5 to 10 seconds after spraying. I switch over to old fashioned cold weather spec fluid in winter because it works better for that job. But in summer that Rain-X bug remover stuff goes back in!
