Arlo the '49 F1

Hey 49er,
Your paint looks great! Fantastic! You have some skills.
Our '50 truck started life with us looking remarkably similar to your's though our rust was more stealth. Hidden under the black exterior with pounds of bondo.
Nice - I'm jealous of your nice red engine.

Thanks for the kind words. I wouldn't describe them as skills so much as the readiness to recognize an error and try again. There was a complete resand and redo on the finish paint. Glad I did even though it was painful at the time. Arlo was relatively unmolested with all the important parts intact. The parts truck replaced the sheet metal and only one other thing was needed. A BIL fabbed a new blower housing so the fresh air intake for the Magic Air system is complete. The engine paint was just time with a wire brush and degreaser to prep.
