What did you do to your IDI today?

You're going to LOVE it. Just hang around over here and you'll find a multitude of information and experience. The guys are very willing to help. So more about the truck...

I really look forward to it. My pickup is a little rough, I believe it to be a '90, but I will have to verify. The date tag was worn off. It is a 7.3, zf5, 4x4, SCLB, white with red interior. Interior aint pretty but I can change that eventually. Pretty solid old truck but needs some TLC pronto. It'll get the proper coolant, better battery cables, new batteries and a lift pump if it turns out she needs it. I started a thread here, asking some questions.

I have a 94 7.3l idi. New hubs, outer axle, universals on the front drive shafts and front axles, wheel bearings, seals, spindle nuts, breaks, resales the front diff. Pretty much everything I did to my f150 with ifs. Also have done glow plugs glow blue controller and batteries. The truck has 170k on it was rebuilt at 130k by the previous owner. Now I have a fuel leak on 2 of my T caps on my return lines. I'm looking for what brand kit to get. I k ow to get the Viton o rings just not sure which kit to get. Also it has the original injectors. Should the ip and injectors be changed together or could I do injectors now with the return lines then the ip later? I don't have any missing. Just wondering for preventive maintenance.

Got it running! Ran it out of a can for a little while. Didn't run too long because the return like went right into the tank instead of the can, but it ran and ran well! I put some more fuel in it, so hopefully it will be enough to run from the actual fuel tanks. Then it's test drive time!

It's recommended to replace the pump and injectors at the same time. A worn pump may not be able to build enough pressure to open new injectors. However it's not written in stone. I replaced my injectors but haven't done the pump yet because of my budget and the truck runs fine.
