rough idle in neutral/park

Hello guys, to make a long story short, An injector stuck open on my 05 5.4 and bent a rod. I had a new rod put in and all new revised motorcraft injectors. This was about a month ago. Truck has ran great for the past 3 weeks until the last few days, I put it in park and it idles real rough, put it in gear and its smooth as butter again? (Once in a rare while it will idle rough even in gear but that's rare and it goes away within seconds). New motorcraft plugs were put in right before it bent the rod. Im about done with ford this pickup has been one problem after another its ridiculous. I will dig into it Friday after I get off work but do you guys have any ideas of what it could be? its not throwing any codes that I can see. I will start by cleaning the maf and throttle body. Could it be a bad coil? Thanks

my impression is that you are thinking correctly...no error code triped...probably a weak coil or a bad spark plug. Certainly cleaning the TB and MAF could not hurt.

Were you able to utilize the ford extended warranty for the 05' injector issues?? depending on your miles you have on the truck.

meaning that you had the engine work done at a Ford service center/dealership?.....If this is the case, seeing as the repairs are resent ...it might be that you can return there and get the these new issues covered as well as they might be residual affects from the original problem. just a thought
