I have a 2005 6.0 that sometimes (3) fails to start, all three times after a wrecker haul to the dealer, it starts after setting, and the dealer finds nothing wrong. I have replaced the top half of the turbo between the first and second start failures but don't see a connection. this problem has been going on for 4 years. the truck has 86,000 miles and has been perfect except for this problem.
Good Old 05 and all the HPO Problems they Have Hope Im wrong and its something easier
So it wont restart Hot?? Or anything like that you have Noticed
You Need a Gauge to get Live Data and then we can Help I use a ScanGaugeII or they have torq app for about 30.00 and it Has some the Main stuff too or there is AE it will scan everything on this truck all 7 system IIRC theres 7??
I also use a ScanGaugeII and after having gauges I believe that no 6.0l should ride without one. You can use a phone with app also if you want to go that route. Not only do you use it for diagnosing a problem but also for monitoring to avoid future problems.
I have learned a lot from DieselTechRon. I even purchased the Milwaukee battery powered ratchet that he uses in all his videos. He will explain to you all the various ways you can check your truck for a no start. Excellent information here...
