1990 f250 diesel leaking

I replace the O rings on the injectors of my 7.3 IDI, my fuel leak dripping off the backside up he motor underneath has slowed but not stopped, where should I look next?

I do have a puddle of fuel on top of the motor right in the middle between valve covers, I tried to dry it up with a rag but couldnt get it all, what would cause fuel up there besides the obvious injectors leaking?

Try the return line mod, the olive seals are prone to leaking and are a pain to find replacements for. When you replaced your O rings, did you replace the caps/lines with it? Typically you do those in sets in case the caps are worn/cracked.

I only replaced the o rings for now, I know I need to do everything but one was leaking really bad and the o rings were kind of a quick fix.

What is the mod line? Im new to diesels. thanks

I'm trying to find the thread with the pictures to show, but to explain it briefly when you buy a return line kit there are four I shaped caps, three L shaped caps, and one cap that has one line coming out of it.

The Injection Pump (IP) has one rubber line coming off of it to a steel line that runs to the back of the motor to a tee. That steel line has an "olive" shaped O ring in it, that are prone to drying up and leaking a lot. They are also in the fuel filter head. The delete is to remove that steel line, and run the return line from the IP to one L shaped cap on cylinder 2 (front of engine driver side) and then having the four way tee the steel line would have gone to, replace it with a three way tee, and have cyl 7-8 return lines go to it, then the third line go to the tank return line.

Here's a quick (and poorly drawn) example of what it should look like when it is done

Did some more poking around because it was bugging me, I found the thread describing the tee, and what and where the olives are, and actual pictures with before and after for the routing, hope it helps!
