More Cummins A/C High Mount Bracket Info
I got part numbers from a thread by (Fordtrucknut I think) on this site and finally had a chance to get to my local JY to look around.
I found what I thought was the right A/C assembly on a Ford F700. I went back today with tools and none of the part numbers matched.
I decided that they looked pretty close and got them all for $30.00.
Best part is they fit great, I can find no issues other than the A/C pump needing to be spaced out about 1/2 inch to clear the oil filter.
My engine is a 1st gen so it's possible the t stat housing may be unnecessary.
Alternative part numbers:
Upper Alt bracket...............3921527
Lower Alt bracket...............3921511
High mount bracket............3923524
Water inlet........................3921382
Tstat housing.....................3921388 (grab it you'll need it...maybe)
Lower Alt bracket spacer......3924904
You can see the angle bracket that bolts to the lower alt bracket and then to the t stat housing.
Looks like 1/2 spacer needed for A/C pump
View from above oil filter.
Looks pretty good but if you see something that is a problem, let me know.
