See anything out there tonight Rich?

 

It was too windy to sit it even get a shot when I was there this afternoon. Trail camera shows a little activity in the area.

 

I need to check to see what is showing up on our cameras. Still have to sight the rifle in too....

 

Well that sounds like the beginning if another GTG.

 

Hmm.... Any ranges out your way that I can sight in at 200 yards? Everythings a 100 out this way.

 

I'm sure there is, we can always set up something on state land too..

 

Unless ou are just doing for the practice.. Or like to see the groups, Sight in at 100, then take it up about an inch. NOw granted, this does not mean you will be hitting the head of nail at 200, but the kill zone is bigger then the head of a nail..Just syaing, I love tack driving, but it really isnt needed while hunting..

unless you are a head shot type guy.. well then..

 

I do like to see the grouping farther out. I have the potential to take deer well beyond the ability of the rifle ( much less mine lol), so long range ballistics are a factor for me, and I like ( need) the practice

 

Now that, I fully agree with, I always want to shoot, I mean practice..

 

As do I, practice is something greatly needed.

I don't have a shot per 100yds but I still like to get the feel for the gun again.

 

I'd like to practice on those who practice for a living. Lawyers first.

 

whats the status on ammo availabiltiy in general, is it getting better? i haven't looked in some time, but i've been sitting on a cabelas gift card since christmas that i'm waiting to stock up on .22 when i can find some.

 

It's gotten a little better. My rifle bullets have never been a problem, but it's not on Obama's **** list either.

 

Obama is a **** sucker. Just sayin.
