Evening All!
The new pictures of the "C" cab are up. RC. Remember when I said that hot slag landed in my shirt? Yeah, that was a third degree burn when I came home to look at it. ....ouch. At least the truck looks good. I've hit it with some burn spray a few times already.
I didn't want to say anything until I knew for sure. The Chevelle is leaving, but I'm getting a new member of the family that I'm sure you'll all enjoy. RC, this trade is happening on Sunday afternoon, so I may not make it down there. I'll keep you posted as we get closer.
As far as what I'm trading for, ...well. I'm gonna keep you guessing until Sunday.
I'll give you two hints....
1. It needs to be washed badly right now.
2. You will definitely know it when you see it. (It's one of one)

Good Morning Everybody!
RC. I'll get the coffee maker all spiffed up before it gets put into heavy use. Thanks again.
I have to work the "job" today. The owner started putting an early Mustang body on a 2003 Thunderbird chassis. Needless to say, I have to cut apart the whole front end and start over. It should be cool when I'm done though. I just have to make a few panels so everything fits correctly.

Evening all.
Alan - After nabbing KaBluey back from the brink, I have no clue as to what you traded the Chevelle for but I'm sure it will blow my mind. You make the darndest deals...
I survived the first week without a secretary! We'll be interviewing for a new one on the 23rd and I get to do some of the interviewing.

Evening All!
I got to modify a set of quarter panels today for a '64 Comet. I had to stretch the wheel wells an extra inch to clear bigger tires. Then I made a new cowl panel for a 2003 Thunderbird that my boss tried to skin with a '65 Mustang.
After that, I started building the cowl for the C-cab. Even with English wheel, it's gonna be a challenge to get the right shape.

sounds like you had a good day alan..i figured that cowl was a little tricky but you will make it nice..
all i got done was more wiring it does have back up lights now and the steering column modifications for the factory turn signals.. oh and also got the headlight buckets blasted, painted, installed and wired.. and a few other small items...if i keep chipping away it will soon be done
dave you need to keep in mind that the secretary has to be more than eye candy.. and of good moral fiber ....ha ha ha ha ha... have fun with the interviews

dont worry rich all wiring is easy..just get the electricity from one place to another....the 51 was a bit tricky, since it didnt come with turn signals, except the dealer installed type using a remote switch and extra lights..i wanted to be cool and have ones that would work with the same bulbs as the brake and park lights and were self cancelling.. so got a switch from a newer model car..a 54.. a few dual element pigtails then modified the steering column a little
