Bj, believe it or not glass can and will warp.
I believe, just never even thought about it. I read an article that said just keep slowly pushing on the glass and it will unseat. It worked until I pulled on the gasket. The stress cracked the windshield almost directly in the middle. Back glass I was using a screw driver to loosen the gasket and clipped the glass. Both glasses were original with bubbles at the edges but could have been reused, not any more Guess now I can get some tinted glass.

Still trying to figure out if I wanna go one piece on the side glass. I believe in the long run it may be cheaper and I never remember opening the vents but defiantly remember the screeching they use to make when they didn't seat properly. I will have A/C in the Panel!!!

I have done it both ways, but when I left it in I always ended up removing it sooner or later. If you are careful removing the cab, the glass is not going to break if left installed. If your cab is moving enough to crack the glass, you are going to have serious issues getting the cab to line up with the front sheet metal, doors, and the cab mounts when you put it back in.

Hi you all and thanks for the feedback

Just a short explanation:

I have planned to restore the chassie and driveline in first hand and depending on how long time (and money) it takes. And also how feed up I feel when chassie and driveline is ready (how big the urge is for driving) I just might throw the old body (as is) back on and enjoy it for driving a while, before attacking the body.

That one of the big reasons I dont want to remove the glass from the CAB.

I have two small kids (1 year and 4 years) so I imagine the chassie and drivetrain end date is highley dependable on these small angels and the moneything of course.

If the truck you are working on is the green one in your signature, that's a really nice truck already! Why take the cab off? that's an awful lot of work just to reach 4 foot of frame top for a truck you plan on driving rather than just showing. There is very little under the cab you can't get to with the cab in place. I'd recommend leaving the cab on the frame, restore your driveline with it in place. It will save a lot of time towards getting it back on the road. Later on if you want, take the cab off and paint that small amount of frame top.

Glass is heavy, I say take it out and save your back. It always easier to lift and maneuver a cab whether with equipment or by hand when it is lighter.

With everything out of the cab I move it myself. Just need the engine hoist to remove, install or load it for transport. I Can tip it on it's back, side etc. by hand, of course I do put some moving blankets down to prevent any damage.

I left the glass in when removing my cab, but after it was off I ended up removing the glass anyways. As said, use a razor knife to cut and remove the inside lip of the seals and the glass comes out quite easily.
