Has anyone else gone the Electronic Ignition route? If so, could you tell me what Petronix part number you went with? Do our trucks run 12 volts or lower? How can you tell for sure? Thank you!

Pentronix

I have a '62 292/auto. I have a Pentronix in it and I would do it again. I don't know what part number you would need for yours but make sure that they are lined up properly both air gap and height. Mine missed on one cylinder, I couldn't figure it out. I called the hot line and they told me to make sure that the pole piece and the pickup were on the same plane. I shimmed the pole piece with an O-ring and it solved the problem. Good luck. Install the Speedway disc brake conversion also you won't regret it.
