Thanks jason how would you recommend changing outcresistors to get thd new one to match? I pulled the switch apart and it was all surface mount resistors which j can remove at work but im not sure what to buy and install in their place.

Hey guys I wanted to throw up an update on my fuse panel mount that i came up with. The original spot was not an option because it contacted the steering column and because the 08+ fuse panels are in the passenger kick panel now. What i did instead was trim the plastic to move the fuse panel approximate 1" down and 2" to the left to make just enough room for it to sit in its original spot and not interfere with the column anymore.

Before:

After:

I also got some nice door lock pins now I would recommend them except they sit flush with the opening when locked. Personally this does not bother me because using the door handle for the inside opens them but in a crew cab i might stay away from them or mount them more upwards so that in case of emergency they can be manually pulled up and the door can be opened.

Unlocked:

Locked:

I think they will look nice once the door panels are painted black as well.

Way ahead of you i already got the 08+ door panels on They door pins can be adjusted i just have them all the way down right now they are held on by a screw i just didn't feel like taking the panel on and off several times i will probably adjust it so it's half way next time the panels are off (today lol).

You mean for using these buttons for audio controls? Do you have a schematic of the audio controls? Again, sorry if you posted it already and I missed it

I was referring to the cruise control resistances I can repost it all in 1 post so its not spread across 5 lol. I was going to connect all the audio wires into one pin with like the set, accel, and resume buttons so that i can splice my audio control module into that wire in parellel (i think thats the right term) have it learn the resistances of the audio buttons and not the cruise buttons so when the cruise buttons are pressed the radio wont do anything and the truck will still interpret it correctly.

My thought was in order for the truck to know what each button is i need to remove the resistors in the 08+ board and replace them with the correct resistors that make them match the 04 resistances...i just realized i can remove the resistors in the 04 board...maybe ill check when i get home lol.

Got a lot done today but after i got the truck started i went to shift into drive and the brake line blew so...my project is going to be slowed down never the less. I will be finishing up the truck but more slowly since it can; move now. I will be doing the brakes on my Expy and the fuel tank in my 95 first now so that i can get two out of the three fully up to date.

Super duty

Great build. I have been following since day one. Have you been able to figure out the lighting and dimmer switch. Also you had mentioned a video about wiring up the windows and mirrors. Can you direct me on where to find. I seem to be stuck on those items and driving me crazy. Thanks for any help

I'm still working on that I think I blew a fuse so I need to check before I start to check my wires again because logiczlly the way I wired it to me makes sense but I'll have to double check.

Im not sure about the video I'm not at my computer and it doesnt come to mind right now but what are you stuck on exactly? Getting the 08+ switches to work?

All windows work with 08 switches as long as 04 switch assembly is plugged in at drivers location. I am not sure how to wire the o4-08 drivers piece along with mirrors and seat positions. Also haven't done head light switch or dimmer.
