Recently have had a sct livewire extreme on my truck and ever since put it back to stock put the dpf back on its been blowing white smoke got a p2452 and p1335 code but when you turn the tuner back on and turn the dpf off no more white smoke and no codes ??what could be causeing this? beyond confused ?? (the reason I took the tuner off is cuz im sell the truck and the dealership wants it stock )

 

i am a gasser guy but have a question for ya... was the dpf stored out or covered.. just a questoin.. i wonder if it didnt collect junk while sitting for how ever long.. then when you put it back on it thinks its dirty and keeps generating to clean it out.. try dropping the dpf and washing it out with a garden hose.. I dunno.. that is a wierd system to me and dont have much knowledge but it seems it does it to purge its self.. did running the programmer retrain the computer and is causing it? I dont know how the new computers run.. if they retrain themselves or not..

 

6.4smokin.... You need to post your question on the 6.4 Diesel forum (if you haven't already) or maybe the mods will move it over for you. And while you wait for some input from the pros over there, I recommend searching that forum using some key words. I've read a bunch of posts regarding white smoke. Since you restored the DPF has the truck tried to do a regen? Has it completed a regen?

 

I have a 2008 f-350 dually with 6.4 and it does blow white smoke from time to time,not in re gen either.Shop put it on computer no coeds no messages.Not using antifreeze or oil ,nor am I growing oil.Any help sure would be great.
