My grandfather's fire truck project!

A few months ago I finished my 5-year project: My grandfather's 1951 F7 fire truck. Here is the link to it: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...l#post10175791

Its rather lengthy but interesting. I even wrote a book based on my thread.

Here is the link to the book: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ire-truck.html

Thanks Keith

Thanks Ted! Would you believe the custom body is made from oak wood?

Yes, I would. I have helped restore several vintage cars with a lot of wood in them. Wood was used a lot in some older cars and trucks.

I'm glad I didn't have to restore it. I'm not very good at wood work.

You did a great job restoring it.
