Hi, our F250 7.3 truck doesn't get used much - it's driven every few weeks. Yesterday we tried to start it, got clicking sound and water in fuel light blinks. My husband sprayed starting fluid and it started with no light blinking. Today it started with no light blinking, he drove it and it stalled and won't start. Again clicking sound and water in fuel light blinking. He drained using that yellow lever. Now going to get a fuel filter at auto parts store while I do internet research. What else should he be doing?
The truck is in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant and it's raining so he doesn't have luxury of tools, etc.

Change fuel filter[s] and add some diesel fuel additive to help dissipate the water in the fuel....you either need to start driving it more or keep the tank filled up with good quality diesel "before" you park it for long periods.
