What model is your MH? Post more info and pictures. There are a few guys on here that have MH trucks. MH specific parts are hard to come by. However, you should contact Chuck at Chuck's Trucks. He's the man when it comes to MH info and parts.

Welcome. I'll second Ilya's statement about Chuck. He knows more about these trucks than any of us. What surprises me is that you say yours is a Mercury. I've never heard of one. I've heard of other Canadian Ford M-Hs that were converted by M-H's affiliate Canadian Traction Limited, but never a Mercury. Pictures please, model identification, and description of it please. My main knowledge is the F-3s, but I also have an F-1. I'll help any way I can. Here is Chuck's web site. Stu

An M-3 would have 17" Budd type wheels having the big five lug pattern. Like my F-3s. I won't be any help on a Canadian Mercury VIN but one of the other guys probably can help there. If you want to send me your pictures I'll post them. Email is stu_sandymcmillan at sbcglobal dot net. Stu

Welcome to FTE!

Your pics have to be somewhere on the Internet first.

Here's one way to put pics in your posts:
Go to Photobucket.com and sign up for a free account. Then create an album for your truck. Upload any pics you want to post on FTE to that album. Have this album open on your computer when you want to post pics on FTE.

While you're making a post on FTE, select the pic you want to post from your Photobucket album. When the large version of the pic is open, right mouse click on it and select "View Image Info". The image info will be highlighted and will look something like this:
http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/l...ghtsafter1.jpg

Copy that highlighted info (right click / copy).

When you have the spot in your post where you want the pic to be placed, select the "Insert Image" icon at the top of the post (looks like a mountain) and paste (right click / paste) the image info you copied in the highlighted box (just shows "http://" when it opens).

Your pic will be placed in the post.

Hope that helps.

It worked, and now I'm trying to copy your pictures from your Photobucket into my Photobucket archive. Your truck is clearly the same as mine, except yours has 1951 features. You also have the front differential on the left which says you have a two speed transfer case like mine. If you can, see if there is an R32-4 xxx number stamped into the long tube of the front axle. And if you would, when you can, email me directly more close up pictures of key features of the truck. Thanks. Stu

So, do MH's have widowmakers, too? Worth mentioning especially since I see it parked in a wet environment in one of the pics.

Ross, I'm pretty sure all the MH F3's had 17in. lockring wheels and the F2 MH had the 16 in. lockring wheels. I cant speak to anything bigger than that. Axle number is 150, thats pretty low and i bet the truck vin comes back as a 51. Very cool truck indeed and welcome Mudruner.
