Anyone using Bilstein 4600 series Heavy Duty Shocks?

It's time to replace mine and wanted to find out if anyone is using these. I have a 96 F-350 Std. cab, LB SRW 4X4 that does go off-road for fishing and hunting, etc. Will be getting some alloy wheels and all terrain/mud terrain tires also. Also, who makes the best steering stabilizer? Thanks for any suggestions.

All these things are subjective. One person likes this brand & someone else like that brand. I have never run Bilstein shocks before. I just run good gas shocks. In fact Ford Factory Shock in these era trucks were some of the best gas shock available.
I have run Rancho 5000s, I have run Pro Comp 9000s. I run off-road all the time. & have for 45 years. The Rancho's the Delco shock GM put on the 97 Blazers are the two best I have used in hard off-road use. But GM uses Bilstein shocks on certain suspension packages.
So I'm sure they are good shocks.

+1

I just put a set of 4600's on my 96 F150 4x2. I'm very happy with them. Best price I found for them was on Amazon.com of all places.

If you decide on Bilsteins try neuspeed @ 800-423-3623

They may be cheaper but I do not know as I purchased from them for a car.
