Torque Converter ?'s

Torque Converter ?'s
To those who responded to my other threads, Thank You .
Now here's my question. I have a 81 Fullsize Bronco that had a 302 and the C-6 Auto Tranny. I have swapped out the 302 for a 351w and while taking out the old engine the flywheel and Torque converter came off with it.
I figured I should change the ATF so I drained the Torque Converter and the C-6 (also replaceing filter) and wonder how I should fill the tranny up again?
Capacity I believe is 5 quarts. Now, should I put some in the torque converter cause most fluid is stored there) and then some in the tranny? or put it all in the tranny ?.
Oh, one more thing any advice on how to get the flywheel and converter on? Does it make sense to bolt them on the engine and then install the engine (backwards form how it came off)?
Im treading on uncharted territory, so any help would be appreciated , Thanks for your time.

First, just put some in the convertor to help get it going, but not enough that it makes a mess. If its bone dry a quart or two would work.
Second, install a new front pump seal, because I can almost guarentee yours will leak now that you pulled the convertor that way. and they are cheap and easy to put on. If you don't and it leaks, it will leak bad.
Third, after new seal, install convertor in transmission, making sure it engages fully. Should put it one and spin it clockwise and here a click or thud, and it should go in a little further, keep spinning and applying pressure (light pressure) and it will engage another step, but keep going cause you should be almost there where it will completly engage. The last one is a solid thud and when spinning you should here the tranny pump spinning inside the tranny. (refer to tech articles on c6 swap on this)
Fourth, arrange the convertor and flexplate so that the 4 studs, and holes are lined up, best at 12, 3, 6, & 9 o'clock posistions.
fifth, get a buddy to help set the engine back in. You will propably have to raise the front of the tranny to help things line up, but don't force anything, and be carefull that the convertor doesn't slide back out partially on you when you are wrestling with it.
sixth, fill up tranny with fluid from the dipstick tube after everything is assembled. Fill and start truck then check fluid in proper way.
