I have only seen one style I liked and it was always on lifted trucks with big tires.

Wide flares like that look good if you have tires that are as wide or wider to match them, but I don't think you'd want something that wide with your setup.

If your getting rust under the rear fenders and want to fix it you need to cut out ALL of the bad metal and weld in new. Once the new metal is in, coat the backside with something like POR-15 and you shouldn't have any more problems. Plus you want have a goofy looking truck with fender flares and narrow tires...

What He Said.

Fender flare are NOT going to FIX the rust, it will cover to and make it grow FASTER. Once you put flares on, everyone will know why they are there

Now I know about just going over with the fender flares.. I know how to fix the rust since my dad went to school for auto repair and fixing it isn't the problem I just wanted to get ideas to cover the fender because I don't feel like paying to repaint the whole bed/side truck etc

If you want to Cover up the rot, you can look into the stainless wheel well trim or Street Flares

now I have a different body style but agree with the guys here that you need to fix the rot before flares. I have no rust on my 88 F150 and put flares on it as when I get around to it I plan on having a bit wider of tires then what is on it now (plan on going to 31s or 33 12.50s) and that will look better but the main reason I put flares as wide as mine are (2inches) is because it will keep more mud off my truck for when I paint it. I think for your truck street flares would look best.

Edit if you want pics of my set up just ask but they are going to be slightly different for yours being yours is an obs and my truck is a bricknose.

Also on a side note drooling over that red OBS and the ops truck very very nice looking trucks.

Yeah I plan on fixing it sooner then later because it got a lot worst since I got it.. but I don't wanna get too big of flares cause I don't wanna put huge tires on but eventually wanna go 33 maybe 35s

For 33s you need a 4 in lift or you may be able to squezze it under there with a 1.5 to 2in leveling kit. For 35s you need a 6in which I figure if you have that big you would end up with the 2 in flares.

No need for flares for any tire under 13.5" wide
