No Power to the cab

No Power to the cab
Hi,
I could really use some help. I have a 94 2WD Manual 5 speed. I was having trouble getting her to start for about and week, I'd turn the key and it would click and nothing else, if I'd keep trying eventually it would start, but now it's gotten worse.
There is no power getting to the cab at all. No dome light, no flashers, no ding ding ding when the door is open.
I've tested the battery several times and it's all charged up.
I replaced the starter relay, but it didn't help.
If I disconnect the black cable that goes from the starter realy to the power distribution box. And jumper that black cable to the BAT terminal on the relay, I can get the lights in the cab and the flashers back on.
And if I jumper the two terminals on the relay, I can get the engine to turn over (but not quite start).
Any Ideas?
Thanks,
Inger

No Power to the cab
I bribed a couple friends with beer and cookies to come over last night and they were able to fix her right up.
When I replaced the starter relay, I connected one of the cables to the wrong terminal. That caused my loss of power to the cab.
Then we could work on the original problem, getting the truck to start.
It was the starter. A chunk of something fell out while they were testing it for me at the AutoZone. Installed a new one and she started right up.
It was pretty tough getting the starter off because the bolts were stuck (a lot of oil in that general area since it's right below the oil filter). I learned a trick for getting really tough bolts off. I don't have a breaker bar, but I do have a floor jack. We were able to unscrew part of the handle off the jack and use that pipe to get more leverage and bust them off. Just be sure to wear glovers so you don't grate your nuckles on the pavement when they finally give way.
