2000 4.2L running super rich w/ lots of codes...
I am trying to help a friend with his 2000 van with a 4.2L. But I am kind of stumped on what to look for next. I pulled the codes and got P0174 and P0171 which are bank 1 & 2 running lean. And with a KOER test I got P1137, P1157, P1131, and P1151 and they are lack of H02S12 switches and running lean. So I doubt both o2 sensors wend bad at the same time, what do you guys think, broken wire on an injector? Bad PCM? He said it started after he got jumped started one day, made me think something got shorted out. Where is the best spot to start looking/ testing first? Thanks.

ALL of the codes are saying the same thing form different parts of the program that detected the same fault.
Some how I feel he has not told you the whole story or thinks other happenings are not important.
The codes indicate an air leak into the intake tract causing the lean condition from 'unaccounted' for air that has not passed through the mass air meter.
Jumping the battery does not cause this unless there was physical damage done in the process. Air intake hoses pulled half off etc..
Some other cause is present.
Good luck.
