That IS one downfall of the stock bumpers. They're none too stout. It really doesn't take much to tweak them. I think if I ever go away from the stock bumper I'll just build one similar to the steel winch / offroad bumpers from buckstop of road armor.

The stock rear bumpers have uber strength to them over mine, when I got the truck it was tweaked up a little, I pushed it back straight with my hands, I'm about 180 lbs.

Thanks, Nick. It's a 20 footer, lol. I pounded some of the worst dents out of the bed while it was off, but it really just needs to be replaced. It's more or less used up.

I bet you are itching to get the efuel on it now! Hard to find straight bed for these trucks anymore. I was looking for one for the SBCC and I think I might end up with a flat bed instead :-) Have you had any luck looking for one or is that further down the road?

The Broncoair bumpers are easily the best looking bumpers on the market for these trucks that aren't stock bumpers.. I like the look of the stocker, but if that has to come off, it either has to get a Broncoair or a Ranch Hand bumper on it...

I hadnt heard of those, thanks for the info. They do look pretty good. Im also a big stock bumper guy, almost every single steel bumper, handmade or from a company, looks gawdy on these trucks IMO. Those broncoair ones look good though,

Hey Nate,,, how you like that. Some fella and his lady showed up at my door Sunday morning with the same thing you got from the brown truck! I even got installation instructions. Verbal, not written! We even broke bread together.(well, I consider biscuits and gravy as bread) Was a great day!
P.S. .... There's something fishy going on, cause that lady with him was definitely not Dumplin!.

I let my wife know how it is. She'll never try harder if I think her cooking is best.
