It's pretty easy. If you check out Craigslist, you can sell your truck and buy a longbed. problem solved.

Unfortunately I agree with the guy above. Short beds are worth money, and you can get long beds cheap.

I have a much easier solution, you give me the short bed truck, I'll give you a long bed truck.

Help somebody else out and trade it for a long bed . You can probably get a little cash along with the long bed depending on the condition of both trucks.___

That information would have been helpful in the first post. I take back what i said as you don't have a short box frame as we think of them. Sounds like you have a long frame with a long cab and short box . Not sure though as you are keeping secrets and wanting information . I'm not good at guessing things.

.
Yes it can be made longer or shorter , how hard depends on if you can do it or somebody else.

Personally I'd find a long bed frame and cut the rear off of both and reweld the long part to ur crew frame with proper gusseting so u only have one weld seam

Well, that's different.
I would sell it to the custom guys since it has become popular to put 4x4 under them and these are getting real hard to find.
But that leaves you without a crew cab.

I did find one near me but clear across the country from you. I know, not much help and this one has the Washington Green accents, but it does show there are some out there.

Probably still best to sell it and just find a crew long box.

BUT, if you must then likely the best way to go about it is to get one of the much more common and much cheaper 80-96 crew cab long box 4wd F350s and just use it's entire frame and drivetrain. Then you just need a bed, and if the short box you have is in good shape it could easily pay for the long box and then some.

I'm 99.9% sure the bed swaps, and 75% sure the cab will swap without mods. I've never done it but from what I've read it sounds vey doable and I bet someone on this forum has.

However with a plan like above you're likely still better off selling it. For what you could get for it you could probably buy a running 80-96 CCLB F350 4wd and all the dentside crew cab parts you need.

cut frame
move axle back
put long bed on top
booger weld in pieces of steel until everything connects again
connect everything that no longer reaches like drive shafts and brake lines
and finally
realize you ruined a rare and unique truck with hack fab.
