I tried posting this question in the 80-86 forum with no avail, but maybe it should be here instead after thinking about it. I have done away with my IFS in my 85 f250 and put in dana 60 from a 89 f350. The axle was missing one caliper bracket which seems pretty hard to find. I have found king pin caliper brackets for 78-79. Does anyone know if these brackets would fit the 89 axle? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

 

No. you need a caliper bracket from a 86-91 F350(D60) or F250(D50)

 

Ttb d50 doesn't work ether. D50 bracket is part of the knuckle. D60 is two seperate pieces. These brackets are becoming a pain in the neck.
