need trans seals for F2

I have a trans with numbers on side: T87D-1, W.G. DIV SB2

Is it a 3 or 4 speed?? and where can I get seals for it?? Leaks out of both ends. Are they hard to replace??

It is on a F2 1950

Borg Warner T-87D 3 Speed Heavy Duty Manual Transmission ~ 1948/52 F1/F5 / 1953/66 F250/350.

The following is the only seal in this transmission (see parts catalog pic). Other leaks probably caused by seeping gaskets.

C1TT-4813-C .. Oil Seal-Output Shaft Bearing Retainer / 3.065" O.D. x 2.12" I.D. x 1/2" thick / Obsolete

FREESE MOTORS in Monticello IA has 2 = 319-465-3541.

KOEHN MOTORS in Wellington KS has 3 = 620-326-5915.

KINSEL L/M in Beaumont TX has 6 = 800-816-2894.

GREEN SALES CO. in Cincinnati OH has 6 = 800-543-4959.

B6A-7153-D .. Gasket Set / Obsolete

KINSEL L/M has 1.

HAVEN FORD in Haven KS has 1 = 620-465-2252.

FREESE MOTORS has 4.

MILLER OBSOLETE PARTS in Binghamton NY has 8 = 607-722-5371.

Thanks Numberdummy!!

I took the trans out and noticed that it was NOT leaking around the rear seal on the out put shaft. But it wet all below that and in front.

This thing sat for 41 years, when the gaskets get wet will they swell up and stop leaking or shoud I get the gasket set ant replace??

Replace the gaskets.
