1967 Ford F700 Vin decode

Hey fellas, I'm new here. I need a little help. This is my dads old farm truck that has been sitting for about 12-15 years, untill 2 days ago that is. I hate to see it ruining so i convinced him we need to drag it out of the shed and get it running and use it to haul dirt, rock, brush, etc on. Anyways He thinks it has a 360 in it, and I have no idea what it has so here is the vin number, if anyone can decode this I really appreciate it.
F70DUA31250
174
J
F703
681
R
G3D
24,000
164
3800
288097
If anybody can help me with this thank you very much.
I think I posted this in the wrong section, I just now seen the for 2+ ton truck section, my bad guys. If anyone can help me with this I really appreciate it.

Anyway's, he thinks it has a 360 in it, and I have no idea what it has, so here's the VIN & Warranty Plate codes.

Hey Foggerman you can't come on here like this. Ya did okay on where ya posted for
your truck. But not one damn pic. We would like ta see ya taking it out of the shed
and cleaning it up. Than more pics of everything so it is just like us being there.
Than we are all on the same page while working on your truck.

Oh!! and welcome to the best Ford Truck site "On The Planet".

And ya may see it mentioned from time to time how much we all like pics.

Could we see some pictures? Here is how.

But I got ta say becoming a supporter is the fastest and easiest way to post pics right from
your whatever pad/cell thing or home computer.
Few of us look in the users Gallery or album as you can see by your recent visitors.

It seems awkward, but whenever you "insert a picture" to one of these threads, the forum is looking for the picture somewhere on the web (which is always available) rather than from somewhere on your hard drive (which isn't always available).

While you're making a post on FTE, select the pic you want to post from your Photobucket album. When the large version of the pic is open, right mouse click on it and select "View Image Info". The image info will be highlighted and will look something like this:
The best photos and videos | Photobucket

Copy that highlighted info (right click / copy).

When you have the spot in your post where you want the pic to be placed, select the "Insert Image" icon at the top of the post (looks like a mountain) and paste (right click / paste) the image info you copied in the highlighted box (just shows "http://" when it opens).

Your pic will be placed in the post.

Hope that helps.

It wasn't a pretty site with the chain and all hooked to it, draggin it up to the shop and all. I think i broke the master cylinder too. The brake pedal was rock solid hard, then i was about to hit dad in the rear as we approched the shop (short chain) then the brake pedal broke loose, and feel to the floor. No pedal at all. The good news is after 2 days, a set of points, condenser, battery, fuel pump, and fresh gas, the old girl fired right up. I was amazed this thing hasn't been touched in i know 15 years, the dump and all still works too. I still have a few kinks to work out with it, but all in all, it started off much better than i expected.

Hey number dummy, I need some more help with the above mentioned truck. I'm still working the bugs out, and I think I'm gonna have to put a new carburetor on it. The plate on the Carb reads Auto lite C8TF ATA 8FC. If anyone can help me out with this I really appreciate it. I mainly need to know what size it is, its a 2 barrel Holley that I've had built 2 times by reputable Carb guys, but it has a terrible stumble right off idle. U have to pump the peddle to keep it running while it transitions from the idle circuit to the accerlate circuit. After the transitioning off idle and it clears up its fine. U also have to run it at full choke all the time.,

Check for vacuum leaks at the carb base, between the carb spacer and carb, carb spacer and manifold, if you have a spacer. Check for PCV hook up. Check vacuum lines to your distributor, and your brake booster located under the cab on the driver side.

Check any and all ports, pipes and hoses off the carb or in the vicinity of the carb. Check the manifold as well.

Does it burn oil, or blow blue smoke on start up or when you let off the gas?

:

Thanks for the advice, I've already checked the vacuum hoses and what not around the Carb, I've even sprayed wd-40 all around the carb and it didn't appear to have a vacuum leak, but I'll check it again just to be sure. No smoke of any kind as far as I know. I haven'tseen any anyways. I'll keep plugging away at it. Thanks.
