Gents: Anyone know a source for side vent windows and a headliner? Also can you tell me how to search within this forum? Thanks! Tom

Any good glass shop can cut "Laminated Safety Plate" glass to your patterns, if you still have your old/even broken vent glass.

Aloha.

Question Steering box

Can anyone tell me the reason for the electric wire coming from the steering box 0n my 57 f100? It comes out of the bottom and goes up inside under the dash. Also need to know where i can get a headlight retainer ring.

The wire that comes out of the steering box in the engine compartment should be for the horn.

Dude, sounds like you really need a shop manual!

Headlight retainer rings aren't hard to find.

LMC, Dennis Carpenter should have them. Also take a look on ebay.
