Front hub/bearing breakdown

Well I tried to do some searching but my pitiful internet connection makes this horribly frustrating. I recall that Tousley Ford used to have some online parts breakdowns, but it looks like they changed owners or something.

I'm trying to find the part numbers for the little BS parts in my front hubs, like washers, snap rings, etc. If anyone knows where I can find this info I would greatly appreciate a link, Thanks.

Assuming you have a Dana 50 TTB or a straight axle Dana 60

Still the ttb, but depending on the cost of parts I'm about to buy I may very well switch over to the Dana 60.

Hub kits will have all the snap ring parts, buying them seperately is a PITA.

Bearings are usually sold with cups separately, so you'll have 100 in bearings just for the front, and the hub kits are usually around 160ish.

I'm 95% sure from the ball joints OUT is all Dana 60 equivalent parts. So no need to "swap" to D60 parts.

I thought the spindle itself was a fuzz different.. The spindle nuts, wheel bearings, and hubs should all be the same though. Not sure if the spindle bearings are the same, but I think they are.

The whole reason for mentioning the Dana 60 was that if I'm going to end up spending the $$ for bearings, rotors, calipers, pads, etc., then I may as well just spend a little more and get a complete heavier axle.
After talking to my local dealer (90 miles away) they inform me that the hub kits are going obsolete and there are only a few of them left. They are selling for $280 each. I've decided to just put some new bearings in it and fabricate what I don't have.

The spindle bearings and hub races ar the same between the D-50 and D-60.. I was surprised when I discovered this.. In my 2wd to 4wd swap thread I listed the parts numbers for both Napa and Autozone.

The price difference would end up being huge... your talking about doing just a few bearings, races, and rotors vs replacing the whole axle, springs, driveshaft, and you would still have to buy the same rotors, bearings, etc for the new axle.

IMO fix what you got unless the whole setup is blown out and needing new springs, ball joints, bushings, etc.

GM 14 bolts also use the same spindle nuts. Not that matters in this thread. lol.
