Lousy no good worthless reman 6.0 issues
At 102k miles my 6.ohno had to be replaced because of a split block(in 3 places)Anyhow its now got roughly 60k on it and is having issues. Its had the same issues for awhile now,but couldnt afford and didnt want to fool with it.
Ill start with starting the truck.Often times when starting it would jump to almost 2 grand when it first fired up.I recently did the blue spring upgrade and that seemed to help. The next time I notice it is when I pull out of the gas station on to a 3 lane road with a 55mph speed limit. If I try to pull out in a hurry Id get run into. When I pull onto the road foot on the floor it hits about 3k and wont gain anymore rpm at a steady foot on the accelerator. It acts liek a standard shift that runs out of rpm and needs to be shifted. If I plant my foot in it,it slams down a gear, and once it gets back to about 2500 it pulls like normal.Sorry its hard to explain but hope you get the idea.It surges like mad while sitting at a traffic light, seems like when the ac on its much worse, dunno if it has to do with the ac being on,or the temp outside. Its basically gutless at lower rpms, and it surges while going down the highway.Best way to explain that is it feels like towing an overloaded trailer on too small of a truck. What really made me notice all this was driving a buddies clone of my truck, his tuns about as good as a 6.0 can.
Its not throwing any codes,I run a scan gauge II if anything that it can read will help me diagnose this thing. To me it doesnt seem mechanical.I obviously need some help, but Im thinking maybe its the FICM,I also thought maybe the turbo was dirty but Im guessing the remans come with a new turbo.
Hopefully I didnt bore you all,but I could really use help as this thing is driving me nuts, appreciate any input

2003 F350 cc dually 4wd auto trans.Other than an air intake coolant filter and cat delete its stock.jswartz,Ive got most of those in there just need to log them. You just reminded me that while rolling down the road the boost seems ridiculously low,for instance at 55mph itll vary from.75 to only 2.Doesnt matter if Im towing 6k lbs or empty.Big Inch thank you for the suggestion,Ill do that as soon as I can,Thanks again guys.

You posted the paragraph below in January. Was this a different truck/engine?
I need to replace mine bc some jackwagon drilled holes in it for what Im guessing was a 6 gun tuner switch.I looked on Tousley's site and the panel without the 4wd or airbag switch is $140,but the one for 4wd without the airbag switch is $405!!!!Naturally I need the more expensive one.My question is what makes the panels with the 4wd switch $300 more? From what I recall they are both the same but one is cutout for the switch.Part #8
