gear box seal

the seal around the shaft where the pitman arm comes out blew and emptied the reservoir in seconds. i was sitting still and wasnt turning the wheel. just warming the truck up for a second. the same seal was leaking before i purchased the truck and they tossed a new 2 dollar seal in it. well i talked to them(by the way i was headed over there that morning to pick up my tags ya its been less than three months) i am blaming it on something they did (ie didnt seat the seal right or didnt see what caused the seal to give out in the first place) i am trying to figure out if gear box problems are known in fords new front end or does the 35`s cause enough pressure to blow seals like this every 3 months. or they just patched it and didnt fix the problem

thank you in advance
brian

A $2.00 seal? That sounds suspicious to me!
