Well, the ride was noticably improved with the bags. There were still a few spots that weren't fantastic, but those spots were really bad before, just a minor annoyance now. I leveled the truck out side to side once it was on the driveway. Nice to have the truck sit level and not have the *** end squatting. After fooling with the airchuck I may order that compressor sooner than I thought! My ziptied up air lines were not fun to deal with.

Are you feeding an air tank setup or simply routing each compressor directly to a bag?

I'm thinking about doing something like that for my airbags, but a simpler version. I just want a compressor, possibly mounted under the rear seat to keep it out of the elements and such, to feed a tank, and from there a wireless manifold to send air from the tank or release air from the bags as necessary to achieve a particular pressure. The compressor goes off when tank pressure drops below a certain threshold, say 90 PSI, and then shuts back off again when the pressure reaches a certain point, such as maybe 145 PSI.

Air horns and whatever else aren't really part of the plan, and I would probably put an air chuck somewhere just for emergencies (I have a couple CO2 tanks already), but really it would only be used for the bags. Does some system like that already exist, or would I be better off creating my own from individual parts as part of some long-term project?

I'm sure there are 100s of variations, just get what you need that's all, maybe you can find a used air pump n all, they are available around here............ food for thought
