vent shade pricing
I've been looming to get some vent shades. Pricing online looks like about 100-115$ online for in channel weather tech for all 4 doors on 2011 Screw.
When I want to advance the guy quoted 65$ for all 4 window in channel weather tech for super crew.
And about the same price for avs and ventshade brand.
Why the price difference? What am I missing?
He also said that the vemtshade brand was the best when In general it looks like weather tech is preferred. I know that part is just personal preference, but seemed odd because all the looking I've done the vent shade brand never seems to come up.

I have the AVS vent shades on my truck I've had them for 3 years and they still look new and are holding up well.Tthey are not the in channel ones, but use 3M tape to secure them.
I had a set of in-channel ones on my previous car and they started coming off about a year later. I believe that may have been due to how shallow the window channel was because everyone else seems to have had good luck with the in-channel ones of their pickups.
here's the stick-on ones that i have:
AVS Window Visors - 1700+ Reviews on AVS Ventvisor Window Deflectors - Tape-On Auto Vent Shades Window Air Vents
here's the in channel ones:
AVS In Channel Vent Visors & Side Window Deflectors - Videos & 785+ Reviews
hope this helps... if you want i can put a current picture of mine up if you want to see them.

I've decided to go with the in channel ones and hope I don't have issues after recalibrating the windows. Either going with the weather tech or the AVS. Whichever one has the deflector that goes all the way to the door in the front, and does not stop at the triangle piece.
My question was actually why is advance auto 50$ cheaper for what seems to be the same thing?
Usually things are cheaper online.
Is there some difference I'm missing?
