I've been looking for a decent mostly original '65/66 Ranger with A/T since I sold my 1965 F100 non Ranger with 3 O/D in 2009.

btw: If debating whether to use Camper Special or Ranger fender emblem plastic inserts, if you could find a pair of 1958/60 Edsel Ranger nameplates, you could install them.

No one except died-in-the-wool Edsel nuts would know what vehicles the nameplates came from.
I can help with the Ranger emblem pattern if you need, i have been working on a Clone Ranger for a few years now.

Cleaned up visors some. One on the right was cleaned and the one on the left is ready for cleaning.

Passengers armrest is in good shape but drivers is shot. There is quite a contrast between colors of the visors and the armrests.

I am prolly gonna call about the Edsel. It's as close to me as they get.
If she will drive without to much money as is I will drive her into the ground
over the course of the few years I have left. She reminds me of my Last Wife
and driving her into the ground would be so fitting.

Same person (same phone number) seems to have a second one in much nicer condition.

The deluxe package includes "padded visors", are these different from the visors on your other '66 F 250's?

My other F250s are both 4WD and are not Camper Specials (was that possible?). Red one has red padded visors and the white one has the standard gray unpadded.

These on the gold truck are of the padded variety, so that matches up. They might look like unpadded in the pictures, not sure.

The unpadded visors have stitching around the edges as I'm sure you know...

Just a quick update. I got the tailgate removed. It's pretty straight. A couple of small dents on the top edge. I believe this is original to the truck. I've removed some of the paint on the top edge to prep it for dent removal.

Seats have a tag that is hog ringed to the underneath side of each. C4Z8-6563100-D and C4Z8-6563101-D if I'm seeing it clearly.

Very nice. That's going to be one sweet ride when you are through.

Will it be for work or pleasure?

This one will not work as long as I own it. Pure pleasure is the plan. Its camper hauling days are behind it.
