95 c6 in 79 f100?

Dear FTE,

I have a 79 f100 custom 2wd with a 302 and c6 in it.

My tranny is wearing out after all these years and wanted to see if I can use a 95 c6 in my truck?

If it will directly bolt on and if I have to make a new rear mount ect? or if that should be the same..

any info is greatly appreciated

thank you
Paul

what truck had a c6 in it in '95? I thought the end of the c6's was in the mid 80's or so. Could be wrong though.

Still - what motor is in the '95 if it has the c6?

The c6 have an integral bellhousing and came in a couple different bolt patterns. You'd need one with the case/bellhousing for the windsor family motor to bolt up to your 302.
