will this tyre fit? Tyre and wheel fitment chart/sheet

Hi Guys,

Whilst trolling around looking for a new set of wheels and rims I stumbled across this simple sheet with good results. It might answer a lot of questions people have.
Custom rims, wheel tire packages for your ride - RIMSnTIRES.com

Now to find the best touring package for me keeping the tyre size and load rating legal. I am looking for a good set of 35" 16" muddies that are legal for our trucks.

Ohh and just one question, Does anyone know what the stock offset is for our trucks??? I think is 0 but I am not 100% sure.
I have been burnt before one time buying a full set of 20" wheels only to find they rub like mad on the springs!!! I wasn't happy 800 clams down the drain!!!

The stock wheels fitted to the Aussie trucks have up to ~-6mm offset (to clear the springs). 05+ wheels have about +40mm offset, and require a spacer to fit on the older trucks.

Brad, you can have a piece of it if you're prepared to organise it and wait for it. There is economic sea freight options with companies like USAtoAUS. My wheels are on the way!

Hi Simon,

Yeah I know there are various options but like you said it involves time and effort.
I've got a pool hoist in a container somewhere on its way from the US, organised it for $1500 instead of the $7000+ for same thing here

Time + effort = money!

If you're prepared to spend some time and effort, you can save a lot of money.

If you want it here and now, then be prepared to spend some till, esp if it is anything to do with an Ftruck!

My wheels are in a container, I might see them in 2 months, if not 3. Tyres will then be by way of Costco (Aus). The price I pay will be on-par with our US bros. I just got to plan & wait a bit.

Yeah I have got some sweet prices on tyres for my jackaroo from Costco, but I have learned they lack in after sales care. VERY shy on puncture repairs and quiet on faulty products, try to hide behind tyre company reps.

Beware the new Bridgestone A/T 697 that are made in Indonesia, I had sidewall compound failure on tyres only 2 months old, spent my time at Bridgestones tech office to get them inspected and changed over, Costco ummed and ahhed and stuffed around when I showed them, as soon as Bridgestone tech saw them they shat and changed them straight over.
