The bore is the same between a 360/390, its the stroke thats the difference. Need a 390 crank and rods, I think pistons too. It would be just a regular rebuild after that.

Just a different rotating assembly like lurch said. You can get the kits of summit or ask a local machine shop as sometimes they can get you some good deals.

As far as lift kits, there are a few companies that sale them. Skyjacker, Superlift, Rough Country, Tuff Country, Rancho, Fabtech.

Most offer a replacement set of front leaf springs and block for the rear. Or you can get a set of springs for the rear too, but most still use the OEM block.

Difficultly level all depends on your mechanical skills. A place to do it and tools makes it not so bad, IMO.

Depending on the amount of lift, will drive the need for things like longer shocks, soft brake lines, drop pitman arm, adjustable steering link, longer d/s.

i have a 76 hiboy to . it doesnt have any lift and i have 35s on it but it looks like i could clear 38s if i wanted so unless you have 38s or bigger you really dont need a lift on a hiboy unless you just like the looks.

Yea you have the 6 pk front leafs right? It all depends on how tired the springs are, I have seen wore our HB front springs that were almost flat....

The OP asked about where to look for a lift kit, what brand is the best, and how difficult it is to install. I gave him some direction on the lifts ect, but kept my opinion to myself on the best brand.

He did not ask what size tires he could run with out a lift or what size lift he need to run X size tires.....but I am sure its coming here shortly.
