Lucky day for the 56

Jumped into this cool 56 last weekend - traded my harley for it.

It needs some work - but the expensive stuff is done (& done right).

As I go through it making my list of junk to fix I found a huge puddle of power steering fluid under the truck. Don't you hate it when the new dog pee's on the floor!!

Crap - so steering rack can't be cheap - no idea what one to get....so I asked my local meineke shop & they told me I have a mustang 2 front end with a 1970 351c engine. Turns out its the pump leaking not the rack!! Woo hoo!
the pump is $45 & will be here in the morning. Whew.

The new door latch will be here one of these days & the rubber bushings for the Jag rear are in transit.

After I get all of that put together - its on to more fun stuff like seat belts.
