If the truck has the E4OD transmission you have to add several sensors to the carb setup including TPS to keep the trans operating correctly.

Plenty have converted to carb, but why do you want to. Is yours running rough or not at all. Are you hoping for more power.
What's the overall goal for doing this.

Trans control for e4od is the biggest issue. You can retrofit tps to the carb and hope the trans is ok with the different power delivery, or buy the trans controller you can tweak, but you still need all the sensors.
Manual trans and c6 is easy and don't require that crap.

Fuel can be as simple as a return regulator on existing fuel lines and wiring pumps to power all the time, or I like to use an oil pressure switch with a bypass button just in case I need to prime the carb without cranking engine (and safer to not run pump without engine running)

Easy then
Buy the price Motorsport carb adaptor
Buy the one wire hei distributor, remove stock coil, attach green wire to coil- of new dist and red wire to + or batt of new dist
Hook up a 4psi return style regulator to existing fuel lines
Add oil pressure switch to activate stock fuel pump relay.

LEAVE ALL OTHER WIRING ALONE DO NOT CUT ANYTHING

I like the HEI idea. Where can I get a oil pressure switch?
I do some stock class truck pulling and need some thing that is easy to tune as I do some mods. That's why I want to convert to carb.
