Cushioned Gooseneck Coupler Questions

I am considering installing a cushioned gooseneck coupler on my livestock trailer. These devices are advertised to make the ride alot smoother which would be a great advantage on long trips. These devices can be quite expensive and I'd like to get some real world input before I spend that kind of money only to find out that the difference is minimal.

Does anyone have experience with these devices (good or bad)?
Do they work?
Is the difference in the ride significant?

Below are some links to the devices I'm looking at:
Gooseneck Air Ride Trailer Hitch for smoother and safer rides
pr=Gooseneck_Surge" target="_blank">Shocker Hitch - Air Suspension Trailer Hitches
"Cody gooseneck cushion, Cody Coupler and Cody Cushion made in Colorado for your Gooseneck and 5th wheel trailer couplers and truck bed ball hitches, air ride hitch, horse trailer,lq horse trailer, gooseneck air ride, air ride gooseneck hitch."
"Popup Gooseneck Cushion Coupler,Bumbs be gone,Gooseneck Cushion, Living Quarters horse trailers need this, Protect your cabinets, mirrors as well as your truck and trailer from the shock of the hitch.Gooseneck trailer hitch for shortbeds, short bed

Thanks for any input

That second one, the Cody looks to operate in a similar fashion as the Trailair pin box on a 5er. If it works half as well as the Trailair it would be worth it.

Thanks for the info. I'm not familiar with the Trailair pin box but I'll do a little research to compare the two devices.
