There are short straps attached to the head rests in the back seat of the 2013 F250 Super Cab (Lariat interior). What purpose do they serve?

Too, what is the large plastic box under the driver's side rear seat? A cable runs into it. Is it the radio guts? A computer?

I removed the head rests and rear seat today. The head rests were bolted to the cab's rear wall with T45 Torx bolts. The discussion and photos in this thread were very helpful:

My best guesses would be sub woofer and child seat straps for the top of the child seat. The child seat provisions were typically not included in the 250 and higher trucks in earlier models.

 

Thanks. I found the answer in the owner's manual (surprise!). The straps are for use with a child seat.
