A very good video. The only thing I disagree with, is the script near the end of the video that states 03 and early 04 glow plugs are shorter. They are NOT. They are LONGER. The redesign of the piston's combustion area during mid 04 is what forced a change in glow plug length to a shorter design, so as to avoid contact with the piston. As far as the harnesses go, I always opt to replace them for what little they cost, to me it's not worth the effort to try and save them. That is, unless some genius develops an aftermarket harness-buss bar type, similar to the 03 style that will not break.

 

Mike maybe you should drop him a note on Youtube about
the difference.

Buss bar would take a bit of tinkering to get it to work with
each plug getting it's own power. It could be done. I can see
an idea in my mind on how it might look. The trick is getting
around parts and having 4 separate paths.
