Hi gang, notice that Friday the 13th came on Friday the 13th! So something is all right.

I've been away for a while. My notifications quit working months ago and they can't seem to get it fixed. Donna has been keeping the issue alive but they are having trouble.

Miss the Nevada chapter.

Anyone coming up to Reno for the air races this weekend?

Bruce - I feel ya, man. I had that happen before on my motorcycle board and ended up having to put in a different/new email address to get them working again. I found out it was actually my service provider (GoDaddy) that had internally blocked them before they even got to me. I normally don't set up any type of blocker or anything, so I can review and throw out what isn't needed. Kind of ticked me off that they made the decision for me and it was the wrong one!!! even though they said they couldn't remove the restriction, magically soon after that, they started working again on my original email address (non-yahoo, non-gmail type email address). So, go figure...I think they cleaned out the restrictions and poof, the emails came through again.

However, there are some sites that I can never (and have never) received notifications on. It's a bunch of crap, but nothing I can do.

Anyway....sorry Donna for not letting you know about the bike. It was kind of a last minute decision and I posted it up on Craigslist and within 7 hours, someone came from LA and bought it. I was surprised to see it go that darn fast.

However, I just received my lens (Canon 400mm f/2.8L Mark II) yesterday and am thrilled to death. Yup, I miss my bike, but this lens could potentially help me make more month, thus getting another bike or more photography equipment.

The first speech went better than I thought. We won't know our grades on it until Tuesday, but the instructor asked me how I thought it went afterwards and she said I looked good presenting it and I did very well. So, that made me smile. However, we'll see what the grade has to say. LOL

I hope everyone continues to enjoy their weekend. Unfortunately I didn't see Jason wandering around yesterday.

Bruce - I worked all day Saturday (10 am - 10 pm) up in Reno w/ Joy Evans at Wingfield Park for a Secret Music Festival they had going on. I crashed at her place last night & finally got home around 11 am. So, I don't think I'll be going back up today.

Mat - That's ok. I may have missed my chance at the bike, but atleast I still have pictures!


It's pretty nice outside today, so go out & enjoy it!

I don't mind the notifications. I can go in and unsubscribe when I get tired of the thread. Biggest pain was turning off friend notifications of their posts. Those email got old really fast.
