Brake Fluid Type

What type fluid do we use and how much for a system flush?
Also is there any brands to avoid?

Thanks

Sean

Hey Sean, I used dot 3 or 4 synthetic to flush my system. Either one will work. I'm **** so it took me 4 qts.

4 Qt.
I can see that to get clean fluid from the front to the back.

I did some digging and found this little gem in the service book
ESA-M6C25-A or WSS-M6C62-A for the approved types.

I take it that is the specifications codes.
One thing I need to look into is if my Snap-On Solus can
command the ABS module to run so I can flush any old
fluid from there.
