bad grinding noise front end 97 F250

Hi guys. I have a bad grinding noise in the front end whenever i come to a stop or apply the brakes hard. also when i back in and out of driveways, uneven surfaces, I can hear a grinding or a pop noise. the truck 4x4 always worked until now. 4x4 hi makes a bad grinding sound, wont let me get over 30-35mph and it pulls extremely hard to the right once in 4x4. 4x4 low seems to work however cant go over 5-10mph. also it has the AUTO HUBS. Im positive it is not brake pads they are basically new. nothing is visibly broken underneath or leaking fluids. Just not sure what to do here, any advice and help would be great. Thanks guys- Brett

Are you saying you've been driving the truck in 4x4 mode on pavements?

Pull the rims off and see what it looks like. Sounds like it's bearing related, or brake related.
