Capelo, The position of the dip stick in this picture is it should be if you have a rear sump pan (trucks and T-Bird). Your dip stick is positioned for a front sump pan (cars).

I've seen the hole for the new position, I wonder if I use the same rod that I have now

The clip appears to be on the shaft at the upper end??

I see three brushes in the last picture. I assume that is what your talking about.
A picture of the end frame where the brushes sit would help.
It has been a very long time since I have had a y block starter apart. And I do not
think I have one stored here anymore to go look at. So I am not sure if it would work with three brushes.

As for the oil pump drive shaft the spring washer would go on the oil pump end.

I am not sure what you are asking about the dip stick tube.

The clip on the left side on the ARP "rod" is the "washer". It should go on the other end (bottom of rod) away from the arrow that is etched on the side of the ARP rod (we call that a "shaft" or "oil pump shaft" in English). Then you have to pull your oil pump off of the engine and install the "rod" from the bottom of the engine. Do this by inserting the hex drive in the pump and then replace the pump on the bottom of the engine. The clip is on the same end of the rod as the pump.

I have opened my starter motor to make certain. It only has three windings. This is normal. Great question!

Yes of course I remember now. So your starter looks fine.
even the brushes still look okay.
