Input shaft might be bigger on the F600 model. You can probably compensate with a different pilot and use the F600 clutch disc if you can match it up with the right size pressure plate on your F350.

Bearing retainer might be different as well, read on:

Does the F600 run or is it a parts truck? If it's a runner, I'd leave it alone and rebuild the F350 trans. Kits, parts more info:

I have considered a rebuild... kit is approx. 250.00..then to find a competent rebuilder... a factory type reman is 800.00 +... was hoping for a quik swap out... new clutch ***'y ,pilot and flywheel resurface..be done in a day or two..my biggest concern was the trans to bell housing fit... do the holes align correctly.. are the U joint yolks the same size... will the park brake on the back of the f600 fit without major reconstructive surgery... that would be a nice addition to the f350.. all that being said... if it will bolt patterns are the same, I have a 5th over trans in an N model that would be nice in my truck...thanks for the help

Bell to trans will be the same, the Ford "butterfly" pattern. Input bearing outside diameter, input diameter, input length would be question marks.

Rear housing and output shaft spline would be questions on the other end for the right sized yoke and e-brake set up. I think you'll find the larger truck trans different on both ends.

thanks..going harvesting on thur... taking flywheel, TOB fork. and anything else that is in the neighborhood.. all from a B700 series chassis... have a bunch of these '73 bus' that are minus an engine, parts are easy to pick... i'll start sizing up and measuring...if it looks to be doable, I may take a 5sp from the bus, or the 5th over from the N model.. thanks for the help
