Needing more power out of a 1990 460
Howdy.....
I have had a 1990 F-250 XLT-LARIAT for 13 years and now want to make it a project for hauling towing and strolling on long hauls. I am in Arizona and this truck is absolutely rust free. I am always getting asked if it's for sale- it's not.
I just got a set of Doug Thorley Headers for it and I want to work out some way of doing performance mods without opening the motor, it just turned 100k for milage. It runs great but I'm of the mind too much is just enough.
My main ride is a 2008 Dodge Magnum SRT-8 which has been massaged, so I love hi-way cannibals and I drive them accordingly.
Any tips or suggestions on performance would be greatly appreciated.
