74F350 super camper special 390 header application
I have a question if anyone can answer, I'd appreciate it. I'm swapping a 360 for a rebuilt 390 c6 auto, in my 74 f350 super camper special, and I would like to know if Sanderson ff427 shorty headers will clear the larger frame, aux. front gas tank, front sway bar, and allow me to run pipes to the pass. side??
I e-mailed Sanderson, and they said that they have had some success on these applications, but Ford had many frame rail sizes and front end combinations, so they could not give me a definite answer. The frame IS larger on my truck, being a f350, I was hoping someone could shed some light on this for me, or an alternative , that would work, as I am trying to free up some HP on this engine.
Also,.. does anyone know where I can get parts to rebuild dual piston Dayton front calipers? thanks.

On the fuel tank(s), there should be enough room if there is no aux tank mounted along the passenger side frame rail.
