Found this forum, new 6.4l owner

Hey there, figured I would post something instead of lurking. I just traded in my 2002 F150 5.4 Supercrew for something that would haul my new Camper. My wife and I bought a new Winnebago U27RBDS tow trailer and found out my little F150 was at it's maxed. GVW of the camper was 7700lbs and we towed once with the F150. Towed ok but I wish I had more power to go at the hills. I feel were were MAXED out and long trips would not be possible. So I ran upon a 2009 F250 Lariat Crew Cab LOADED. Love the power mirrors. So far we have just towed the trailer around town getting serviced and the power is like night and day. Don't know why I even bought the F150 in the first place....

Anyway, my new truck has 71,000 miles on it and seem to run great. I have owned a diesel car before so I am aware of the little "weird" things to check on diesels. Water in the filter, blended or #1 in the winter, etc...... I am sure the new truck will like my heated garage this winter being parked next to my camper. It sure is nice to have a LARGE garage.

So I figured I would check in. Lots of good info up here and enjoy reading and learning.

The color matches well with my camper trailer. I will have to get some good pictures of it when I get it out of my garage.

Just think, over the weekend some dude in the superduty forum was bad mouthing our trucks grill and headlights. Some people just have no taste. I like the color also, had one in Kansas I was going to pickup but I missed it by an hour, but I'm not complaining, I like my green machine.

Mine has a couple of burgundy and tan stripes on it. I think they match pretty well.
